Coronavirus Alert

ATTENTION ALL VISITORS

In an effort to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus to our patients and others, St. Francis Medical Center has implemented Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and Centers for Disease Control guidelines for hospital visitors.

IF YOU HAVE A FEVER OR ANY SYMPTOMS OF RESPIRATORY ILLNESS, INCLUDING COUGH, TROUBLE BREATHING, SORE THROAT, OR NASAL CONGESTION, YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO VISIT PATIENTS.

If you are at the hospital and you have:

  • Fever
  • Cough or Shortness of Breath
  • Been ANYWHERE IN MAINLAND CHINA within 14 days before you became sick
  • A history of travel from HUBEI PROVINCE, CHINA within 14 days before you became sick
  • Had close contact with a laboratory-confirmed 2019-nCoV patient within 14 days before you became sick

Tell staff NOW and put on a mask.

Also let us know if you have been in close contact with someone who is under investigation for Coronavirus infection and have a fever or symptoms of respiratory illness.

PLEASE DO NOT VISIT FAMILY OR FRIENDS AT ST. FRANCIS MEDICAL CENTER IF ANY OF THE ABOVE APPLIES TO YOU.
