Paulette Bradley, St. Francis Patient and Family Advisor, Receives City Recognition
Jun 14, 2019 | St. Francis News
Congratulations to Paulette Bradley, member of the Patient and Family Advisory Council at St. Francis Medical Center, for being recognized in a recent City of Lynwood “Humans of Lynwood” spotlight. Paulette has called Lynwood her home for 38 years. Since retiring from her career as a sales representative and trainer at United Airlines for more than three decades, she has been actively involved in the community. She is a member of the Lynwood School District Bond Board, City of Lynwood Personnel Board and the Citizen Oversight Committee, and has served as President of the Senior Travel Club and as an escort on Senior Day Trips. In addition, she teaches sewing at the Lynwood Senior Center.
Paulette is just as active at St. Francis Medical Center, volunteering her time as a long-standing member of the the hospital’s Bioethics Committee and, as previously mentioned, a member of the Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC). In her role on the PFAC, she and the other members meet with physicians, leadership, and nursing leadership on a regular basis, offer support to patients and staff, and give vital input on how we can create the best possible experience for every patient and person we serve. She has provided invaluable insight in the development of our hospital’s “How to be a Partner in Your Care” guide and important personal/patient perspective on our “No One Dies Alone” initiative and booklet, which will be implemented in the coming weeks.
We thank Paulette for her passion and commitment to helping others, for contributing her time and talent to the City and to our hospital, and for being a strong voice and advocate for our patients, families, and community.
