St. Vincent Medical Center
Through St. Vincent Medical Center Society and the Medical Center Foundation, donors are integral in providing resourses and services for our patients, their families, and staff.
Our hospital is undergoing an exciting revitalization! While we’re investing in new equipment, facilities and top-notch physicians and nurses, our patients will receive the same care and kindness they’ve come to expect from St. Vincent Medical Center.
As we move forward Together in Health, St. Vincent Foundation will carry on our long tradition of investing in the health and well-being of our communities through philanthropy.
In addition to raising funds for important life-saving technology, the Foundation extends a helping hand to thousands of men, women and children through community outreach programs – such as wellness education and services for underserved youth.
Please join us in our work to provide safe, compassionate care to the communities we serve by making a donation today. Thank you for your partnership as we invest in the future!

Recent Programs Made Possible by generous Foundation Gifts
Emergency Room Expansion
We expanded our Emergency Department, enabling St. Vincent to become a 911 Paramedic Receiving hospital. As a result, emergency room visits increased 47% in just one year. The project has special significance for our community members who now have timely access to emergency care.
Community Outreach Programs
Support from donors enables us to continue our vital outreach services to vulnerable residents through programs such as:
Free diabetes testing and disease management education
Culturally and linguistically appropriate health information and referrals
Free screenings for hepatitis and referrals for diagnostic and treatment services
Free Transportation for Patients to St. Vincent and Home
A generous grant from QueensCare enables us to provide free transportation to patients who require assistance in getting to and from their hospital visits or follow-up care appointments.
Inpatient Charity Care
St. Vincent’s also partners with QueensCare to cover medical expenses for certain medically indigent patients who cannot afford to pay, or do not qualify for other reimbursement programs.
